A: Any deaf people who use videophone equipment that is made by Sorenson VP2 (only). FAQ #2: Q: Does the VP Remote 2 has all (or every) of the control functions for Sorenson VP2? A: Yes. FAQ #3: Q: On the VP Remote 2, what the little slide switch "HI-LO" do? A: Ok, two things: If your room have one VP2 monitor screen, then switch to "HI". If your room has more than one VP2 monitor screens, then switch to "LO". Note: Using the "LO" helps to prevent from interference with other VP2 monitor screens. FAQ #4: Q: Will the VP Remote 2 works with other Sorenson VP-100/VP-200/nVP [nTouch]? A: No. If you need to use any of those, then VP Remote Plus is for you. Click here. FAQ #5: Q: Will the VP Remote 2 works with TV/VCR/DVD/Satellite/Fan? A: No. FAQ #6: Q: Will the VP Remote 2 affect to my cellphone/pager/PDA? A: No. It is because VP Remote is sending in IR (infrared) instead of RF (radio-frequency). FAQ #7: Q: What is the size of VP Remote 2? A: It is 4.75" Long (L), 8.25" Wide (W), and 1.0" Deep (D). You can print out an actual photo size from here. FAQ #8: Q: Was Sorenson satisfied with the VP Remote 2? A: Yes. Sorenson's satisfaction was that the VP Remote 2 does not required to physically break inside of any Sorenson's videophones. Considered all of Sorenson's videophones are equivalent to "Sacred Indian Burial Grounds". So, VP Remote 2 doesn't dig to break their bones. FAQ #9: Q: If I have the VP Remote 2, can I still use the Sorenson VP2 videophone remote control? A: Yes. FAQ #10: Q: Since now I have the VP Remote 2, what shall I do with the Sorenson VP2 videophone remote control? A: Do not throw it away. Just put it back in the box where you received the videophone for the first time (Note: Remove the battery to prevent corrosion). FAQ #11: Q: If I have the VP Remote 2, can I still use the Sorenson VP2 videophone remote control as a back-up? A: Yes. However, VP Remote 2 has many more button functions than Sorenson VP2 videophone remote control. FAQ #12: Q: How long is battery lasted on the VP Remote 2? A: Depends how often you use the VP Remote 2. Using the VP Remote 2 frequently on a daily basis would lasted for about a year or so. FAQ #13: Q: I really love the VP Remote 2 but I am not a Sorenson user, what shall I do? A: Contact Sorenson and apply for a videophone to be your default provider before you can use the VP Remote 2. A: VP Remote 2 is great when you need an extra videophone remote control around the house or even at the office. FAQ #19: Q: On the funnies (Comic Strip #2), a VP Provider does not give me another remote control replacement anymore after number of times, can I still buy the VP Remote 2? A: Yes. Then, you would be more careful with the VP Remote 2 because you will be ending up paying for another replacement again. FAQ #20: Q: Is the VP Remote 2 free? FAQ #23: Q: Where do I send the VP Remote 2 for a warranty repair if it breaks (just in case that I would like to know)? A: Check with your dealer first where you purchase the VP Remote 2 from. FAQ #24: Q: Can I contact Sorenson Tech Support about the VP Remote 2 warranty repair/replacement? A: No. It is because of Sorenson has nothing to do with the VP Remote 2 at all. FAQ #25: Q: What is the manufacturer's warranty on VP Remote 2? A: One year from the date of purchase. Free parts and service. Enclose an original receipt and a $8.00 for return shipping & handling. FAQ #26: Q: If the VP Remote 2 is out of warranty, what shall I do? A: Contact the manufacturer directly. A: No. It is because Sorenson has nothing to do with the VP Remote 2 at all. FAQ #2: Q: My VP Remote 2 does not work. A: Make sure that your VP Remote 2 works only for Sorenson VP2. And most important of all, verify that your VP2 firmware is updated (v1.2 or higher). FAQ #3: Q: Again, my VP Remote 2 does not work! A: Check the two AA batteries to be sure that those are fresh and using alkaline-type. And most important of all, always check the proper matching (+) and (-) polarity signs. FAQ #4: Q: Okay last warning, my VP Remote 2 does not even work! A: Keep your hands away from the front of VP Remote's front LED IR transmitter. FAQ #5: Q: My VP Remote 2's red LED is blinking forever. A: Make sure that all buttons are not stuck. ![]() Legal: FAQ #1: Q: Who owns the invention rights to the VP Remote 2 design? A: DEAFWORKS. FAQ #4: Q: A legal medical question - will the VP Remote 2 cause me to get a CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome)? A: No. Only if you don't use the VP Remote 2 in repetition excessively as much as you use on your videophone remote control other than your pager or computer's keyboards. A common sense is know and when to limit using the VP Remote 2. DEAFWORKS or its authorized dealers are not responsible for your thumbs/fingers action. FAQ #2: Q: How did DEAFWORKS came up with a great innovative idea of VP Remote 2? A: DEAFWORKS surveyed with many deaf customers for their wish list on the videophone remote control. FAQ #3: Q: Is this VP Remote 2 as the first one to come out? A: No. DEAFWORKS introduced the 1st generation VP Remote in selected marketing regions for a brief time in 2009 because most of the customers do not like the way how it was designed. So, DEAFWORKS quickly developed another newer 2nd generation VP Remote design which it was a completely different than the 1st generation VP Remote design. And, the results???... Everybody likes the new 2nd generation VP Remote (and loves it), too! FAQ #4: Q: Does DEAFWORKS have any warm business relationship with Sorenson? A: Yes. Since the early days (way back in 1999) for coming out on the eFLASHER to work with their EnVision and 1st generation desk-top videophone, VP-100.
